Letting, Murage capture nTELOS 8K

Robert Letting, a 24-year-old who trains in Albuquerque, N.M., won today’s nTELOS 8K road race in Richmond with a time of 22:42.

Jane Murage, a 21-year-old who trains in Boyersford, Pa., won the women’s race in 25:48.

More than 5,000 runners competed in gloomy conditions that included gusting winds and rain.

The McDonald’s Half Marathon started at 7:30 this morning and the Sun Trust Marathon at 8.
