With 30 bands and musical acts performing free for over 32,000 runners and walkers of the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k on March 28th, spectators and supporters can also look forward to an enthusiastic musical festival.
“We have set an all-time record for band participation,” says Sports Backers event manager Ray Patterson. “And there will be variety that everyone will enjoy, so come on out and cheer the runners, walkers and the musicians.”
Radio Stations to Broadcast Live Remotes – 96.5 the Planet will be at the Anderson & Strudwick Party Stop at the Robert E. Lee Statue (Monument & Allen); Mix 103.7 will be at the Anderson & Strudwick Party Stop at the Stonewall Jackson Statue, (Monument & Boulevard); K95 will be at the Anderson & Strudwick Party Stop at the turnaround (Monument & Chantilly) and Y101 will be next to the Richmond Times-Dispatch Tent in Monroe Park.
