I told Elizabeth “Flash” Williams about having her photo on the website and asked about her race and here’s what she said:

“Thanks so much for making us photo of the day yesterday!  My pals and I were delighted. :) We definitely had a blast - and are thinking that any race would be more fun if run in costume from now on. Seriously, I think hearing “Go Flash!“ the whole time made me go faster!  We got our costumes from a party store in Falls Church (we all live in Northern VA).  I wish I could say we made them ourselves.  We’ll have to really come up with something really creative for next year.
