Richmond Area Running Courses

Bear Creek State Park: Bear Creek is located in Cumberland County off of Route 60.  Location offers many blazed trails.

Bryan Park: Park offers 1.5 miles of running with surrounding hills and lake.

Canal Walk: West of 5th street, take a historic run on this 1.25 miles course.

Cheswick Park: A 1 mile exercise trail located off of Forest Hill Ave.

Deep Run Park: Located in Henrico County, park offers 1/2 mile and 1 mile trails.

Henricus Park:  Offers wide dirt and gravel trails.  Trails marked every .5 miles.

Huguenot Park: Located in Chesterfield County, offers gravel trails.

Innsbrook Corporate Center 5K Course: 5K course located in Henrico County.

James River Park: Offers three different places for running:  Main Area, Belle Isle and Pony Pasture.

Petersburg Battlefield: The battlefield gives runners 3.5 miles of paved running ground and over 10 miles of trails.

Pocahontas State Park: Offers a cross-country course with trails.

Richmond National Battlefield Park: Offers a cross-country course with trails.

Richmond SunTrust Marathon Course: A circuit course that takes runners around the Richmond area.

Rockwood Park: Equipped with paved and unpaved trails with mile markers.

University of Richmond: College campus trails.
